CTC conducted the evaluation to assess the outcome of the peacebuilding project and quality of implementation, including assessing the usability of the interventions and economic and social impacts they have made in target communities of herders and farmers. CTC engaged in data collection and analysis for the final report published for NRC, identified areas needing strengthening and using econometric indicators, provided scientific evidence on interventions’ effectiveness. The final report carried recommendations for scaling up and for improved, long-term peaceful solutions by addressing reasons for conflicts and disputes.
We conducted stakeholder consultations and analysis of trade policies between Pakistan and Brazil to develop a comprehensive trade intelligence report for the Embassy of Brazil.
Women’s Voice and Leadership-Pakistan (WVL-Pakistan), aims to increase women’s and girls’ enjoyment of human rights and to advance gender equality. To strengthen capacity of Women’s Rights Organizations, women’s rights activists, and coalitions. CTC conducted capacity assessments through ‘Gender Just Organizations (CAT4GJO) Tool’ and developed a management plan to facilitate the development of Action Plans.
We developed a toolkit for designing and implementing livelihood programmes tailored according to the DKH regional partnership model. We conducted research in Iraq, Jordan and Pakistan on the livelihood context and role of women in the formal and informal economy and develop ‘Livelihood programme strategies’ promoting economically viable and socially/environmentally sustainable livelihoods.
We conducted a gap and skills analysis to identify wage and recruitment disparities, which informed the development of an outreach plan and multimedia campaign to promote STEM awareness among women and girls. CTC also identified internship opportunities for female students and implemented a scholarship program for female staff. These initiatives helped build a more inclusive environment and strengthened pathways for women in the energy sector’s STEM fields.
CTC assessed the program targets and achievements for the Balochistan Rural Development & Community Empowerment Program (BRACE), focusing on behavioural changes among communities and government stakeholders. CTC also reviewed monitoring frameworks of the five implementing partners: Rural Support Programmes Network (RSPN), National Rural Support Programme (NRSP), Balochistan Rural Support Programme (BRSP), Human Dynamics, and Oxford Policy Management (OPM). This assessment provided key insights to refine monitoring strategies and improve program impact.
This project was implemented in eight districts of Sindh and aimed to empower women beneficiaries through socio-economic initiatives. CTC conducted a mid-term review to assess women beneficiaries’ perspectives on the planning and implementation of key interventions, including Income Generation Grants (IGG), Community Investment Fund (CIF), Community Infrastructure (CI), Vocational Training (TVET), and Micro-Health Insurance (MHI). This involved participatory discussions with stakeholders and key informant interviews at the provincial level. The review provided actionable insights to enhance program relevance and effectiveness in supporting women’s socio-economic progress.
CTC conducted fieldwork to collect data, document best practices, and address competency gaps. The evaluation included recommendations to improve operational timelines, streamline decision-making processes, and identify actions to overcome bottlenecks. The review offered a framework to scale up cash-based assistance, enhancing PRC’s capacity for effective and timely relief operations.
