AEFI Media Monitoring & Development of Blended Learning Package for journalists on COVID 19 Vaccine

This project aimed to enhance the capacity of electronic and print media for evidence-based reporting and to track social media-driven misinformation and disinformation about COVID-19 vaccines. CTC conducted a social media tracking and media capacity assessment, provided insights and recommendations to improve media practices. Additionally, CTC developed a blended learning training package and a knowledge resource for television, radio, and newspaper personnel to support responsible reporting and reduce vaccine misinformation. The project strengthened media capacity for accurate COVID-19 vaccine coverage and contributed to public awareness and trust in vaccination efforts.

Market Feasibility for Biodegradable Sanitary Napkins

This study assessed the market potential for biodegradable sanitary napkins from both demand and supply perspectives. CTC conducted desk review, Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) with shopkeepers, manufacturers, and NGOs, as well as Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with women and girls to understand current practices and preferences for sanitary products in terms of convenience and awareness. The study provided actionable insights into market viability and consumer preferences, guiding future strategies for sustainable sanitary products.

This project aimed at data collection for provincial and district department of health, Lady Health Workers Programme and Expanded Programme on Immunisation. CTC developed a data collection plan and undertook key informant interviews at provincial and district levels. This project resulted in comprehensive data on the local stakeholders working on maternal child health care.

Election Commission of Pakistan aimed to monitor the trainings of District Returning Officers, Returning Officers and Polling Staff to know the quality standard and level of learnings. CTC conducted external monitoring of 78,986 training events across 36 districts of Punjab. This involved developing a mobile application and web interface to track and display live data from the training venues. CTC also produced an overall monitoring report. The project provided real-time insights into training quality, providing actionable insights into the effectiveness of electoral staff training.

Capacity Needs Assessment of the Chief Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees (CCAR) and Its Provincial Commissionerate (CARS)

The project aimed to assess the training and capacity needs of the Chief Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees. CTC conducted a situation analysis of the current capacity of both regular and contractual staff, identifying gaps in organizational structures, and the HR needs. The assessment also included evaluating the training requirements for enhancing staff efficiency in program management, financial systems, and internal and external communications. The assessment provided a detailed roadmap for strengthening staff capacity and improving operational efficiency.

We conducted a desk-based review of program documents, final reports, and baseline and midline studies for the Livelihood and Disaster Reduction Programmes. The evaluation involved identifying relevant tools, training enumerators, and conducting key informant interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) to address questions related to Trocaire Resource Rights program. This project provided valuable insights to guide program design and improve effectiveness in supporting livelihoods and disaster resilience.

This project aimed to enhance quality and access to TVET for employability in three districts of Sindh Province: Dadu, Khairpur, and Jamshoro. CTC conducted data collection, including interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), to assess aspects such as employment outcomes, wages, autonomy, and beneficiary perceptions of improvements due to the TVET training. The survey provided valuable insights into the effectiveness of the TVET interventions, informing strategies to enhance employability and training outcomes.

The Balochistan Agriculture Project (BAP), an FAO initiative, aimed to develop livelihoods with a focus on the farming sector in Balochistan.
